However you choose to travel, there is cover for your domestic trip, whether you take your bike or drive, catch a bus, plane or train or even if you are cruising on an ocean wave we can cover eventualities you may only consider important when you travel overseas. If you are visiting destinations anywhere within Australia, situations can arise leaving you or your loved ones in need of assistance. Protection against your trip being cut short, cancellation cover for prepaid flights or other scheduled transport costs, hotels, car hire, cruises, lost deposits and travel agency fees.

Our Comprehensive Domestic Travel Insurance is for travellers who need cover for cancellation or rearrangement costs, additional travel expenses, repatriation plus other benefits for travel within Australia. This policy can cover repatriations, but there is no cover for any medical, hospital or ambulance expenses you incur in Australia

If you are cruising in Australian waters only, you should select ‘Domestic Cruise’ as your destination, but if your cruise disembarks at an overseas destination you will need to to purchase an International policy for the overseas destination(s) and select the cruising cover option to be sure you are covered whilst on board ship.

Cover is also included for personal baggage and travel documents, computers, smart phones and watches and a wide range of other tech, against theft, accidental damage or accidental loss up to the applicable limits.

If you do not require comprehensive travel cover you can also select a policy offering cover for Cancellation only.
